Can we upgrade or downgrade plans?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time through the Manage Subscription portal. Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, ACH transfers, and can accommodate purchase orders for government entities. W-9 available on request.
Is there a setup fee? How long does a scan take?
No setup fees. No onboarding call required. Sign up, paste your URL, and your scan starts immediately. Free scans (15 pages) typically complete in 2-5 minutes. Paid scans with hundreds of pages run in the background. Many finish in under an hour, while slow sites, crawler delays, PDFs, and login-walled pages can take longer. We'll email you when your report is ready, so no need to wait at your screen.
Does AuditAble provide legal protection?
AuditAble is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or certify compliance. However, continuous monitoring and documented remediation efforts demonstrate good faith, which courts and the DOJ consider when evaluating compliance efforts. All scan results and reports are exportable as evidence of your ongoing accessibility program.
What if our site has more pages than our plan allows?
Page capacity is included in your plan, and you are never charged extra for pages. Most municipal sites fit comfortably inside Starter (500 pages) or Professional (2,000 pages). If your site grows past your plan, you move up a tier; larger sites are best served by Enterprise.
Can we monitor multiple department websites?
Yes. Starter and Professional include unlimited monitored domains. Your page budget is shared across all of them, and you can assign monitoring priority so your most important sites scan first. For example, 20 small domains with about 10 pages each can fit inside Starter's 500-page scan budget.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You can export all reports and scan data before or after cancellation. We retain your compliance history for 12 months after cancellation so you can download it anytime. After 12 months, data is permanently deleted.
Can we export our data and leave at any time?
Yes. You can export all scan results, reports, and compliance data at any time from your findings workspace. There are no long-term contracts. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice. After cancellation, we retain your data for 12 months so you can download it.
What does AuditAble actually test?
All plans (Free, Starter, Professional) use the same automated scanner, which evaluates 28 of the 50 WCAG 2.1 AA criteria today (33 when AI-assisted content evaluation is enabled). Professional tier adds Draft VPAT generation when Layer 2 is live. Criteria we did not test are clearly marked "Not Evaluated," never counted as passes.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. We accept government purchase orders with Net 30 or Net 60 terms. We also accept credit cards and ACH transfers.
Do we need to install anything?
No. AuditAble scans your public website externally, just like a visitor would experience it. There is nothing to install, no code to add, and no access to your servers required.
